Many of us can recall a time during Christmas when the letterbox would burst with greeting cards. Overjoyed, we would collect the day’s batch and carefully tear the envelopes one by one to reveal the sender and their wishes.
When read, the gently marked words brought us closer to our distant friends and relatives. We would then place the cards next to each other above the fireplace, where they would keep adding up and emanating wishes.
No one can doubt the power of a handwritten greeting card, but there are also other ways to send your love during the holidays.
